What is the difference between a track day and Bennetts Rider Confidence Days?

 

Unlike a track day, you will not be on the race circuit. These courses are run from the paddock areas only. Also, you will have constant tuition throughout the course. These courses have been designed to enhance and improve your road riding abilities.

 

Who can participate at a Bennetts Rider Confidence Day?

 

Any valid motorcycle licence holder or CBT holder can participate, as long as the motorcycle they bring reflects what they are legally allowed to ride on the road.

 

How long is a Bennetts Rider Confidence Day course?

The courses last for approximately 3.5 hours.

What should I wear for the Bennett’s Rider Confidence Days course?

All participants are required to wear a helmet, motorcycle safety jacket, motorcycle safety gloves, full coverage bottoms (no holes in knees of jeans etc) and sturdy shoes or motorcycle safety boots (with ankle coverage and not steel toe caps) minimum. Full one piece or two-piece leathers are also acceptable.

Are there any alternative dates available?

Unfortunately, there are only 5 limited dates available. All dates have a morning and afternoon session option.

Are bikes provided at Bennetts Rider Confidence Days?

No. All participants are required to bring their own motorcycle. The motorcycle must be in good safe working order and legal for road use.

Can I participate on an automatic motorcycle?

Yes. However, please bear in mind that there shall be bikes of all levels on the course.

What is the best motorcycle to bring?

The course has been tailored to work for most motorcycles however long wheel-based motorcycle riders may find elements of the day harder than short/ standard length motorcycles.

Are spectators allowed to watch at Bennetts Rider Confidence Days?

No, unfortunately public spectators are not allowed as the training areas will always be live (motorcycles moving around) and they would be at risk.

After booking when shall I receive confirmation?

A confirmation email will be issued immediately. If you don’t receive your email, please contact 01733 852882 between 10am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. A second email containing further information shall be issued one week before the event.

Shall fuel be available to buy on the course?

Unfortunately fuel is not available, so we ask you make sure your motorcycle has the correct amount to get through the course when you arrive.

Will refreshments and toilets be available?

There shall be a Café onsite that provides tea, coffee and light refreshments. Toilets shall be available too.
